Borrowed Memories Exhibition
Athlone Art & Heritage Ltd are pleased to present the inaugural exhibition Borrowed Memories at Athlone's new contemporary visual art space the Luan Gallery. In its previous incarnations the building has been many things to many people and to the town: a library, a concert hall, a cinema, a temperance hall to mention but a few.

Trio di Parma Concert in the Great Hall
The first of two spring concerts in the Great Hall sponsored by the Derravaragh Music Association and a welcome return visit by the acclaimed Trio di Parma. They will play trios by Mozart, Brahms and Beethoven.

Official Opening of Athlone Castle
Athlone Castle will be officially opened by Minister of State for Tourism and Sport, Michael Ring, T.D. The event will be attended by Council officials, Fáilte Ireland representatives and those involved in the tourism sector nationally, regionally and locally. The official opening will launch the castle ahead of the 2013 tourism season.
