Ever wanted to bring your Lego mini figure to life? Well now you can thanks to Brick Flicks brand new stop motion workshop. Experienced tutors will share tips and techniques on set building, filming, editing and creating sound scapes. Lego characters will come to life in a forest set created by you. Participants will work in small groups to collaborate and create the set, storyboard and plan their stop motion movie and then to film and produce it. The workshop is focused on hands on learning and all participants will receive a certificate of participation and a copy of their movie. All materials are supplied including our mobile film studio kit of IPads so all you need to bring is your favourite Lego character.
Cost: Workshop fee €20
The lighting of the Uisneach beacon fire was the signal for igniting fires on many hills across the whole island creating a unique ‘fire eye’ with Uisneach being the pupil. This heralded the coming of summer.
