Durrow Scarecrow Festival
9 day event will leave a smile on your face with over 300 scarecrows to be seen throughout the village. The festival also hosts an art and craft exhibition and outdoor market at the weekends.

Opening of Dining Hall at Donaghmore Workhouse
The formal opening of the Conservation Project at the Donaghmore Workhouse Dining Hall will be performed by Minister Charlie Flanagan. This is a partnership project between Donaghmore Workhouse Museum Committee, Laois County Council and Laois Partnership and will add greatly to the heritage value and visitor experience at Donaghmore.

International Summer Organ Series
Featuring: Bogdan Sofei (Violin) Aoise O'Dwyer (Viola) Adele O'Dwyer (Cello), Thomas Charles Marshall (Organ). This is the 16th Tullamore International Summer Organ Series, this festival aims to highlight the wonderful & unique Frobenius organ that is in our Tullamore Church of Assumption.

Hodson Bay Lake Swim
An open water swimming event with 2 distances: a 750m and a 1.5km swim. Suitable for everyone from the seasoned open water swimmer to the first-timer wanting to take the plunge in a safe environment.

Ciaran O'Connell (Flute) & Siobhan Kilkelly (Organ). This is the 16th Tullamore International Summer Organ Series, this festival aims to highlight the wonderful & unique Frobenius organ that is in our Tullamore Church of Assumption.
