Mullingar Agricultural Show

For over 180 years Mullingar Agricultural Show has been celebrating the best in farming, rural interests and country living.

10th July 2016

The show attracts entries from the length and breadth of Ireland with classes to reflect the traditional agricultural strengths of Westmeath in pedigree and commercial cattle and sheep showing classes; sheep shearing classes, horse & pony showing classes, and show jumping, an old tradition of excellence. There will also be pony classes for special needs children.

Mullingar Agricultural Show attracts a very large entry in the poultry, horticulture, cookery, arts & crafts, photography and dog show events too. There will be a large area of outdoor & indoor trade stands, a food village, children's face painting and various displays and demonstrations throughout the day. Enjoy line dancing, step dancing, IWW Wrestling, cookery demonstrations, and live music.

A fantastic fashion show takes place in the afternoon with competitions throughout the day for Best Dressed Lady & Gentleman. The young people are not forgotten with a Stylish 12's competition!
