Saxophone Showcase

Bob Batty will be presenting a saxophone showcase at Hineys pub . He will play several numbers solo to demonstrate members of the saxophone family.

Hineys Pub, Ferbane

9th April 2016 at 8:00 pm

There will be a question and answer session after this for the audience to find out about learning the saxophone (or flute, clarinet, recorder or bassoon!) Following the Q & A, there will be a short performance by new Offaly band, The Residents featuring Saxman Bob. Later in the evening the band will play a full gig in the pub. The showcase is free to attend! The Residents play a lively and eclectic mix of pop and rock songs for weddings, functions and parties. The band consists of Lorraine Weldon on vocals, Bob Batty on sax and flute, Donncha Geraghty on guitar, and the well established rhythm section of Joachim Hein (bass) and David Cashen (drums).
