Originally from Derrinlough near Birr, Bulfin has had an illustrious career as an artist and people in Offaly would be most familiar with his Sky Train sculpture at Sculpture in the Parklands at Lough Boora. Funding for Architectural and Archaeological Heritage Projects

Jimmy Deenihan, T.D., Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, has (26th May 2011) issued an invitation for applications from bodies, such as charities, academic institutions, local authorities, and professional organisations, for funding from the Environment Fund for good quality projects which will support and complement national policies in relation to the architectural and archaeological heritage.
