100 jobs announced for Longford

The new facility will be based at the old Cameron plant in Longford. One hundred jobs have been announced for Longford town.

Leetha Industries, manufacturers of packaging material for the medical, foodservice and disposable packaging sectors, today announced it is to establish a manufacturing and supply operation called Red Seal Cups Limited in Longford.

The new facility will create 100-plus jobs over three years.

The project is supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland.

Leetha is partnering with Food Containers Manufacturing UK Ltd to establish Red Seal Cups Ltd, which will produce Leetha’s patented range of heat resistant packaging solutions for the UK and European marketplace.

The company will recruit personnel for a range of roles from senior management to packers and warehouse staff.

The facility will be based at the old Cameron facility, which closed last year.
