Finalists announced for the Tullamore Chamber Awards

The Finalists for The Tullamore Chamber Awards have been announced. There are six finalists in the Industry category; Glenisk, Emerald Stained Glass, Glenn wood, Hamco, RR Projects and Duffy & Scott Candle Makers. The Finalists in the Retail Excellence category are, Menary’s, Woodgrove Interiors, Leavy’s Centra and Galvin for Men.
There are five finalists in the Business Person of the Year category, Mr. John Lyons, Mr. Albert Fitzgerald, Mr. George Flynn, Mr. John Leavy and Ms. Margaret Deverell. In the Cultural/Tourism category the following businesses made it into the list of finalists, Annaharvey Farm, Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre and Lough Boora Parklands. The Business Initiative finalists are Aura Productions, Breezy Gardening/Design Hub and O’Donoghue’s Bakery. Finalists in the Green Initiative category are, KMK Metals, Element Power, Bord na Mona, Molloy Precast and RR Projects. The finalists in the Community Achievement award are St Mary’s Youth Centre, St Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, Tullamore Active Retirement Association, Tullamore Union of Parishes and Offaly County Council. Finally the Emerging New Business finalists are Irish Water Jet Profile Ltd, Nine Design, Sites to Go Internet Lab and PB Designs.
The Tullamore Chamber Awards will be held on Friday 7th December 2012 in the Tullamore Court Hotel. Chairman of the Tullamore Chamber Awards committee, Mr. Dominic Doheny said ‘There has been great interest in this year’s competition with over 50 nominations being received. The Judges have provided a list of finalists in each category and I thank them for taking the time to do this.
