Good2Talk (G2T) Walk Hand in Hand Concert

Published: 14th April 2014

Good2Talk (G2T) Counselling & Psychotherapy celebrate their first year supporting the community on May 10th with their Walk Hand in Hand Concert with International Bass/Baritone Soloist Cian Brennan-Gavin.

The event is in association with Mullingar Charity Variety Group and will be held in the beautiful surroundings of All Saints Church on Church Avenue Mullingar at 8pm.

Speaking at the event launch last week, Good2Talk Director of Services, Pat Gavin said “The first year has come and gone very quickly and we are extremely proud of our achievements to date. We continue to be humbled and encouraged by the support we have received from local businesses, the local community, voluntary groups and individuals. We are especially grateful to the highly trained professional therapists who give their time voluntary and it is because of this that we can offer effective and accessible therapeutic support to the people of our community.”

Pat Gavin continued “Since our opening in May 2013, over 250 people have accessed and engaged in one to one Counselling and Psychotherapy in our premises which is conveniently located at No.1 College Street, next to Mullingar Garda Station. We have successfully worked with clients from the age of 13 and upwards, with issues ranging from depression, anxiety, bullying, trauma, relationships issues, suicide ideation and more. We thank our clients and their families who have trusted us to help and support them in their time of need.”

G2T’s mission is to support members of the community in maintaining positive mental health. They offer effective and accessible counselling and psychotherapy and proactively work towards improving the mental well being of all members within our community. We look forward to our next year in helping the people of our community, bringing about a greater awareness of the services we offer, and extending the hand of support to many more Communities in the Midlands.
