Choral Master Class for Offaly Choirs

With over 25 choirs in Offaly, there is a huge interest in people across Offaly coming together to sing. As part of the Midland Master Classes series there is an opportunity for choirs and individuals to come together to work and learn from one of Ireland’s leading choral experts, Alan Leech. “we are delighted to have someone of Alan’s choral caliber come to Offaly, this is a great chance for choirs and those interested in group singing to get outside their comfort zone and really advance their singing practice. There is always something new to learn and someone new to learn from, so I hope choirs will really make the most of this opportunity” said Arts Officer, Sinead O’Reilly Alan Leech is a member of the National Chamber Choir of Ireland and has worked for many years as a singing teacher and lecturer in Choral Conducting at Griffith College.
