Medieval Castles of Offaly Study Week
For the first year a medieval castle study week will be held in Offaly. Many of you will be aware of the research that has been ongoing in the county by archaeologist Caimin O’Brien and this is an opportunity to submerge yourself in this new information and be guided to the sites over the 5 days.

Bealtaine- Older People’s Festival
A national festival that takes place on a local level celebrating creativity in older age which includes music, dance, storytelling, workshops, theatre, exhibitions, crafts and more.
Time: 1st May to 31st May 2013


Fleadh Cheoil Uíbh Fhailí
A folk village, vintage parade, religious ceremonies in Irish, sean nós singing and dancing, céilí mor, “seomra as gaeilge” workshop, various outdoor / indoor sessions and two days of competitions over the weekend.
