“Make Good, Make Better”- Saidhbhín Gibson

An enthusiastic audience attended the talk and presentation on the exhibition by Saidhbhín Gibson, “Make Good, Make Better”, and a presentation on the interesting trees of Emo Court by Gardener, John Duffy on Saturday 13 April at the Arthouse.

The exhibiting artist, Saidhbhín Gibson, gave a tour of exhibition, and told how it is a response to the natural world that exists around us. The exhibition involves drawings, and objects constructed from various materials and organic matter.
John Duffy gave a slide presentation on the trees at Emo Court and the unique characteristics of the various species.
The previous week, students from Cosby NS were treated to a tour of the exhibition and an art workshop with Saidhbhín Gibson. Taking fallen leaves and recycled paper and magazines the children created very special pictures in response to the exhibition.
