Offaly Community Forum seek new Community Representatives

Offaly Community Forum is the collective voice of over 450 Community & Voluntary groups in Co. Offaly. The Committee meet once a month and there are 25 Community representatives attending the meetings of the major decision making bodies that operate in Offaly.
At the AGM of Offaly Community Forum on 2nd July, Tom Finnerty was re-elected as Chairperson, with Hugh Farrell as Secretary and Jody Gunning as Treasurer. The Forum priorities for this year are supporting the Community Watch network of all Neighbourhood watch and community alert groups via a text alert system with the Gardai, linking with agencies to make Offaly a more Age friendly county for older people and Offaly Mental Health Talk Campaign which is now in its third year.
A number of vacancies have emerged through the Forum so if you are an active member of the community and are interested in playing a role and representing the community voice on any of the agencies below then please contact the Forum by phone, post or email expressing your interest in joining the Committee of Offaly Community Forum and attending meetings of the respective agency.
