SANTA’S GIANT POST BOX to be delivered to Tullamore

Published: 20th November 2014

A press release has been issued from the North Pole to say that Santa has placed a special order for a Giant Post Box to be made for him in Tullamore. Work on this ginormous post box is underway locally.

This drawing was sent to Concrete and Quarry in Tullamore as a special North Pole delivery, where the Giant Post Box was constructed in top secret. Standing over 5 meters high the Giant Post Box is currently getting its finishing touches by artist Mark Quinlan, who also received secret instructions for this mission. The Giant Post Box will be located on O’Connor Sq in Tullamore and will arrive on Thursday 4th December.

Now the search is underway to find the first child to post their letter to Santa in his Giant Post Box in Tullamore. Santa has left entry forms in Tullamore Library and they must be returned there by Friday 28th November. The chosen boy or girl will post the first letter on Friday December 5th at 5.30pm with the help of Santa’s elves, after that, all letters to Santa are welcome at any time. Children must be accompanied by a tall and stretchy adult to reach the letter boxes.

Santa’s elves will return on the following Saturdays (13th and 20th) at 3pm to empty the box, so be sure not to miss that too!!
