The Tullamore Show

The Tullamore Show is Ireland's biggest livestock show and so much more. There are competitions to see which cattle, horses and sheep are in the finest fettle and much more besides.

13th August 2017

On one corner, the measurements of a fine equine beast may be taken by a stern, bespectacled judge, while around the next corner, there might be models swanning down the catwalk in all of the latest fashions.

The show offers space for new entreprises to exhibit their services and ideas, and you can ask them questions as you mill about, armed with food and drink from one of the delicious stalls in the food fair.

Speaking of food, Irish and international chefs can be found holding demonstrations, and you can sample the goods alongside sheep dog trials and farm skills demos.

You can get a few ideas for training your own pets by watching the dog agility Trials, or relax a little with some live music and entertainment.

That's not even an exhaustive list of everything there is to do at the Tullamore Show. Experience this legendary Irish event in all its eclecticism to get the full picture.

Hill of Uisneach
