Longford has welcomed a new Pharmaceutical Healthcare company to the town. Established in Ireland in 2020, Bioreva Sciences is an IDA-supported client and a subsidiary of Indian pharmaceutical group Zee Laboratories Limited.

Bioreva Sciences produce a range of scientifically developed health and nutrition supplements, and have completed a two-year investment programme to develop their Longford site into an ISO-approved food supplement packaging facility.

Branded as Bionutrica on the retail market, the company has recently announced retail distribution partnerships with Uniphar Group and with Holland & Barrett in the UK, with the Longford facility serving as a base for European and International growth.
