New ‘Work, Live Westmeath’ Remote Work Initiative Launched

Work, Live Westmeath is a new Remote Working initiative by Westmeath County Council showcasing Westmeath’s endless possibilities as a great place to live, work or start a business.

The new brand and marketing campaigns are set to highlight Westmeath as a vibrant location that boasts a scenic and rich natural environment with a great quality of life, rich in arts, culture, and heritage. Its central location, with excellent transport links to major cities, makes it the ideal county for remote and hybrid working and an excellent place for business entrepreneurs to start, grow or scale their business.

The Remote Working Marketing Scheme is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development, in partnership with local authorities and Connected Hubs, under the Town & Village Renewal Scheme 2022, to support innovative marketing campaigns to attract remote workers to locations across rural Ireland. The purpose of the project is to advertise existing co-working hubs to workers who are currently commuting long distances to work, and to promote the county as a desirable and viable relocation option for those seeking an excellent work life balance.
