The Westmeath Creative Ireland Open Call is a county-wide call to community groups, organisations, venues, artists, writers, performers, archaeologists, historians, archivists and everyone involved in the culture and creative sectors. The call encourages the development high quality creative projects and programmes which enable groups and individuals to realise their full creative potential and develop and encourage greater access, knowledge and appreciation of the arts, culture and heritage.
Grants between €750 and €7,500 are on offer.

There are a number of opportunities available to arts organisations, schools and individuals, including a call out for facilitators, artists in schools schemes and residency schemes.
Longford County Council Arts Bursary Awards 2023 helps local artists in the development of their artistic practice. The award is to help with work planned for the coming year, which may include training, mentoring, research and building capacity. Applicants can come from a variety of artistic backgrounds and work in any art form. Successful applicants can apply for bursaries up to €4,000 and can apply up to 5pm on Thursday, 23 March. In each of the 31 local authorities, the Creative Ireland Programme has established a Culture and Creativity Team which brings together local expertise in arts, heritage, libraries, enterprise and community engagement, to foster collaboration and spark new initiatives.
